On Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., a conference dedicated to the life of Monsignor Rinaldo Camillo Rousset, Archbishop of Reggio Calabria from 1909 to 1926, will be held in the Mons. Ferro Hall of the Archdiocesan Curia in Reggio Calabria.

The conference will explore Monsignor Rousset’s role in the city’s reconstruction following the 1908 earthquake and his ties to the sculptor Pietro Piraino.

The event is part of the Days of Celebration of Ecclesiastical Cultural Heritage, titled “Echoes of Holiness” for the 2026 edition.

Following the conference, there will be a guided tour of the documentary exhibition on Saint Prospero, on display at the Diocesan Museum.
