On 25 May 2012 the Historical Archives of Reggio Calabria-Bova participated in the conference “Cultural heritage and archival sources: comparative research experiences”, organized by the Archival Superintendence for Calabria and by the Centro Studi Esperide and sponsored by the Department of Culture of the Province of Reggio Calabria. The debate focused on the fundamental role that archival heritage, as a cultural asset, assumes in the research activity, providing, among other things, valid and sometimes indispensable aids to frame the work of art in its specific historical dimension, also in relation to a correct orientation of the activities of protection and recovery.
On this occasion, the cultural activity of Centro Studi Esperide was presented, an association founded in 2007 with the aim of bringing scholars closer to the knowledge and enhancement of the artistic heritage of the Region.
